Landstraße (the 3rd District of Vienna) lies south-east of Innere Stadt and is famous above all for the BELVEDERE PALACE — the Baroque residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy, home to Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss" — and for the HUNDERTWASSERHAUS, the iconic residential building designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser in 1985.
The distance from Vienna International Airport (VIE) to the area around Schloss Belvedere, the Hundertwasserhaus and Rennweg is about 16 km — the closest of all central districts of Vienna. Standard transfer time is 20-30 minutes.
The usual routing runs along the A4 (Ost Autobahn) westbound, then the Wien Mitte interchange, with the final segment via Landstrasser Hauptstrasse adjusted to the specific address.
We regularly serve SCHLOSS BELVEDERE — a Baroque palace-and-garden complex built between 1714 and 1723 for the victorious commander of Vienna, Prince Eugene of Savoy, today the Österreichische Galerie Belvedere with the world's largest collection of Gustav Klimt (24 paintings including "The Kiss", 1908 — the most celebrated Austrian painting — and "Judith I", 1901), and the HUNDERTWASSERHAUS — a residential complex on Kegelgasse built in 1985 to a design by Friedensreich Hundertwasser (curved walls, colourful facades, roofs planted with trees, one of the most photographed buildings in Vienna). Frequent destinations also include KunstHausWien (the Hundertwasser museum), the Wiener Konzerthaus (concert hall from 1913, 1,865 seats, home of the Wiener Symphoniker), Rochusmarkt (the local market), the University of Vienna Botanical Garden (adjoining Belvedere) and hotels around Rennweg.

Landstraße requires familiarity with the Rennweg and Landstrasser Hauptstrasse layout — the main arteries of the district. Schloss Belvedere has three entrances: Upper (Prinz Eugen-Strasse from Schwarzenbergplatz), Lower (Rennweg) and Garden (from the Botanical Garden side) — the chauffeur drives to the entrance matching the ticket.
Hundertwasserhaus is a residential building (interior not accessible), but with a viewing zone on the pavement at Kegelgasse. During morning (07:30-09:30) and afternoon (16:30-18:30) peaks, Rennweg and Landstrasser Hauptstrasse are congested with traffic feeding into Wien Mitte (the main suburban S-Bahn station).
This route works well for Gustav Klimt connoisseurs (the Belvedere = "The Kiss" + "Judith" + 24 Klimt paintings, the only institution worldwide with such a collection), Hundertwasserhaus photographers (the iconic 1985 building draws over 1 million visitors annually at Hundertwasserplatz alone), Belvedere + Klimt Villa combo tour clients (the villa in Hietzing where Klimt lived and worked 1911-1918), Wiener Konzerthaus guests (Wiener Symphoniker season, Vienna classical music alongside the Musikverein) and passengers staying at hotels around Wien Mitte (Hilton Vienna Plaza, Mövenpick). We operate 24/7. The fare is fixed and confirmed before travel; flight tracking, arrivals pickup with a name board and 60 minutes of waiting after landing are included.
Payment is completed online by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or BLIK. Child seats, boosters and larger luggage space can be prepared on request.
