Gdańsk · Tri-City · Pomerania
A private chauffeur in Gdańsk and the Tri-City — from Rębiechowo to Sopot.
The Tri-City is three separate cities stretched across 30 km along the bay: Gdańsk Old Town with Long Market, Sopot with the longest wooden pier in Europe, and Gdynia with its harbour. Lech Walesa Airport sits 12 km from central Gdańsk and 25 km from Sopot — one chauffeur can cover the entire coastal stay, with no changing cars between cities. From the Rębiechowo pickup to the last evening run, it's the same standard throughout.

View Tri-City Day Tour →Frequently asked questions about Gdańsk and Tri-City transport
Short, specific answers to the questions guests ask most often before their first booking in the Tri-City.
Can the car reach my hotel in Gdańsk Old Town?
Mostly yes. Long Street (ul. Długa) and Long Market (Długi Targ) are in a restricted-traffic zone, but the Old Town has several permitted side approaches — including from the Wały Jagiellońskie side and ul. Szeroka. The chauffeur knows the access routes to the Hilton, Radisson Blu and smaller hotels on Mariacka Street. Give us the hotel name when you book and we'll plan the pickup point.
Where do I meet the chauffeur at Lech Walesa Airport?
The chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a name board (or your company logo), just past baggage reclaim. After you land, you get an SMS with the driver's exact position and a direct number. We track the flight live — whether you arrive early or late, the car is already there. 60 minutes of waiting after landing is included.
Can one chauffeur cover the entire Tri-City stay?
Yes — and that is precisely the point. The Tri-City stretches across ~30 km along Gdańsk Bay. Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia are three separate cities connected by the fast S6 road. One chauffeur for the whole day or whole stay is more efficient than taxis between cities. Morning airport run, midday Sopot, evening dinner in the Old Town — all in one car with the same person.
Is it congested near Sopot Pier in summer, and how do you handle it?
In July and August the area around Sopot Pier and the Monte Cassino promenade can be heavily congested — particularly at weekends after 14:00 and in the evenings. Our drivers know when to take alternative routes through Wrzeszcz and Oliwa, and at which hours it is better to avoid central Sopot. We always plan the pickup time around real conditions, not a fixed schedule.
I'm travelling with children. Do you have child seats?
Yes, and at no extra charge. Tell us the child's age when booking and we'll fit the right seat, from an infant carrier to a booster. On airport runs and long coastal routes it's standard, not an add-on.
What does a Malbork day trip from Gdańsk look like?
Hotel pickup around 09:00, ~55 km (around 50 minutes) to Malbork via the S7. The Teutonic Castle — UNESCO since 1997, the largest Gothic brick castle in the world — takes 3-4 hours with a licensed guide (ticket paid separately, around PLN 79). The chauffeur waits in the car park. In the afternoon, optionally Kwidzyn (~30 km, 14th-century Teutonic Castle, ticket ~PLN 18) or a direct return to Gdańsk.
I have a lot of luggage or am travelling in a larger group. Which car?
Tell us the number of cases and passengers when booking and we'll match the car. The V-Class seats seven, or six in comfort with full luggage — it's the standard choice for longer Tri-City routes with multiple stops. The chauffeur loads and unloads everything.
How do I pay, and will I get a VAT invoice?
You pay by card online at booking, by BLIK or by bank transfer, with no cash and nothing to settle with the driver. We issue a VAT invoice on request; add your company details when booking or email kontakt@viptransfers.pl.
Why choose VIP Transfers in Gdańsk and the Tri-City
- The same chauffeur, not an app lottery. A small team that works across the Tri-City every day and knows you reach the Hilton Old Town from Szeroka Street — not through Long Market — and that central Sopot at 16:00 on a Saturday needs the Wrzeszcz bypass. Not a random driver from a pool.
- A Mercedes matched to the day. E-Class for two with hand luggage. S-Class when quiet and Nappa leather matter. V-Class for seven seats, or a family with beach bags across the Tri-City. Every car tracked and serviced.
- The quoted price is the final price. No meter, no surcharge for the 40 minutes of waiting because the Stockholm flight was late, none for Sopot congestion. Quote online in under a minute.
- Your flight is handled before you land. We track your arrival into Rębiechowo. If it lands early, the chauffeur is already there. As you leave the hall, an SMS tells you exactly where the car is — driver's initials and plate included.
- The details you shouldn't have to ask for. Complimentary child seats, NDA on request, VAT invoice, an English-speaking chauffeur and help with the luggage. All included, not line items on a price list.
Online quote in under a minute. Secure payment by card or BLIK. Email confirmation the moment you book.
