Vienna Airport (VIE) → InterContinental Vienna transfer

After landing, your chauffeur meets you inside arrivals with a name board, assists with the luggage and walks you directly to the vehicle. InterContinental Vienna has its own spacious driveway at the main entrance from Johannesgasse - drop-off is performed at the reserved porte-cochère with InterCon-uniformed doormen, a few steps from the IHG Premier-style reception. The specific feature of the last leg: Johannesgasse is a third-district street with good vehicle access, the hotel has a porte-cochère ready to handle conference delegations. The chauffeur coordinates the drop-off moment with the hotel Bell Captain - this matters in the evening when Konzerthaus and Musikverein stage performances. During peak traffic (07:00-09:00 and 16:00-18:00) the bottlenecks are the A23 Praterbrücke, Landstraßer Hauptstraße and Schwarzenbergplatz - we plan 10-15 minutes of buffer. During the Vienna Opera Ball (February), Wiener Festwochen (May-June), the Christkindlmarkt and Musikverein concerts we add another 15-20 minutes.

Included service covers meet and greet, live flight tracking, 60 minutes of complimentary waiting after landing, luggage assistance, still and sparkling water on board and child seats on request. We also handle return transfers for very early departures after Musikverein concerts, conference events or Konzerthaus galas. For couples celebrating occasions we assign Mercedes S-Class with pearl welcome, for conference delegations V-Class. Payment is completed online by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or BLIK. Cash is not accepted.

InterContinental Vienna is popular with Wiener Musikverein and Konzerthaus guests (two steps from the hotel), international business conference attendees by Stadtpark, couples seeking a classic IHG Premium address and lovers of imperial Viennese cuisine. After the airport transfer we offer full-day hourly dispatch with Mercedes S-Class or V-Class for excursions to Schloss Schönbrunn (10 km), Schloss Belvedere (2 km), Klosterneuburg, Bratislava (60 km) and to the Wachau Valley wine region and the Heuriger taverns of Grinzing. In the evening we transport guests to Vienna restaurants - Steirereck (inside the Stadtpark, a few steps away), Tian, Konstantin Filippou, Restaurant Parlour - or to concerts at the Musikverein and Konzerthaus, with the chauffeur waiting and returning to the hotel. For conference delegations we also offer short transfers between InterContinental and the Vienna International Centre (UN Vienna), the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien and the Quartier Belvedere office towers.
