From Krakow Airport to the Philharmonic is about 16 km, and the ride usually takes 30-45 minutes. The route uses the ring road and Konopnickiej Street, then the Vistula Boulevards and Zwierzyniecka Street. The final stretch can be busy in the afternoon and right before concerts - the proximity of Planty, Wawel and the city centre keeps traffic intense in this area. The Philharmonic sits next to the restricted zone A but Zwierzyniecka Street remains open to vehicles, allowing passengers to be dropped off directly at the main entrance.
After landing, your chauffeur meets you in arrivals with a name board, assists with luggage and instruments (the Philharmonic regularly hosts soloists travelling with their own instruments), walks you to the car and drops off at the Philharmonic's main entrance. For classical aficionados, Szymanowski connoisseurs and early music enthusiasts we synchronise arrival with the concert start - usually 30-45 minutes before due to ticket control. For artists performing at the Misteria Paschalia Festival we arrange drop-off at the artists' entrance, typically a different time window than for the public.
We serve classical music lovers, Szymanowski connoisseurs, Misteria Paschalia Festival early music enthusiasts, Philharmonic sponsors and corporate delegations holding seasonal boxes. This is a solution for those for whom an evening at the Philharmonic is part of a precisely planned premium agenda.
Arrival logistics
The Philharmonic sits at Zwierzyniecka Street 1, next to Old Town zone A, but the street itself remains open to traffic. Standard drop-off is at the main entrance; for soloists we coordinate the artists' entrance. Before evening concerts and during the Misteria Paschalia Festival it is worth allowing extra time for Planty-area traffic.
