The district's best-known address is Park Aleksandry - a heritage landscape park from the nineteenth century with ponds and 150-year-old trees, a favourite spot for Saturday family walks. In central Prokocim stands the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows of Prokocim - a parish important to local religious tradition. On the western side, at Kamieńskiego 11, operates Bonarka City Center - one of the largest shopping malls in Kraków (60,000 m², 220 stores, IMAX and a Carrefour hypermarket).
In Prokocim is the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of the Cracow University of Technology, as well as the University Hospital on Kopernika street - one of the largest medical centres in southern Poland. Residents of the Prokocim-Nowy estate live mostly in blocks along Wielicka, Bieżanowska and Złocieniowa.
For Bonarka City Center passengers we use level -1 of the car park with a lift directly into the gallery; for families walking in Park Aleksandry we drop off at the main gate from Wielicka. For pilgrims to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows we drive up to the church car park. The chauffeur tracks the flight, 60 minutes of free waiting after landing are included. Fixed fare, no surcharges for traffic, night hours or luggage.
