The spine of the district is the Dębnicki Bridge linking Dębniki with the Old Town and Wawel - it is from this side of the Vistula that travellers who choose the left bank photograph the cathedral and the castle. Praska, Tyniecka and Konopnicka streets are lined with premium new apartment buildings along the river, favourites among returning Polish expatriates and long-stay tenants. On Tyniecka and Konopnicka stands the Church of St. Stanislaus Kostka - the parish where the young cleric Karol Wojtyła, later Pope John Paul II, ministered. For pilgrims it is a key stop on the Papal Trail.
The Vistula Boulevards stretching from Dębniki to Salwator are a favourite ground for walks, runs and cyclists - in summer pop-up bars and river barges open up along the embankment. Galeria Kazimierz is reached via Powstańców Śląskich bridge, and Hotel Ibis Kraków Old Town stands five minutes' walk from Dębnicki Bridge. UJ students often choose Dębniki for accommodation thanks to its proximity to the 600th Anniversary Campus in Ruczaj.
For passengers with luggage we know the gated addresses with private security (Riverside Apartments, City Park, Wiślne Tarasy) - the chauffeur coordinates the gate opening with the reception. Student traffic on Barska street slows down by 5-7 minutes in the afternoon, so we plan pickups with that buffer. Fixed fare, flight tracking, 60 minutes of free waiting after landing, child seat on request, VAT invoice.
