After landing, your chauffeur meets you in arrivals with a Courtyard by Marriott name board, assists with the luggage and walks you to the vehicle parked a few dozen meters from the exit. The hotel has its own driveway from Uniwersytecka Street with a covered drop-off zone in front of the main entrance - you step out directly at reception, sheltered from the weather. Particularity of the final leg: the hotel sits inside the Culture Zone, where on event days at the Spodek arena (concerts, IEM, EEC) parking and access can be temporarily restricted. On such days the chauffeur coordinates with the hotel concierge for the alternative entry from al. Roodzielenskiego. During peak traffic (07:00-09:00 and 15:00-18:00) the bottlenecks are the S1 exits and DK86 - we plan 8-12 minutes of buffer. After 21:00 the transfer typically shortens to 30-38 minutes.
The included service covers meet and greet, live flight tracking, 60 minutes of complimentary waiting after landing, luggage assistance, still and sparkling water on board and child seats on request. We handle return transfers, including very early departures after conference wrap-up - the hotel offers flexible check-out and the Uniwersytecka driveway is accessible around the clock. For such clients we set up regular shuttles between the hotel and MCK and Spodek - 2-3 minutes by car or 4 minutes on foot, but on event days and in bad weather chauffeur service is preferred. We also organise full-day hourly dispatch with excursions to Auschwitz-Birkenau (75 km, 80-95 min), the Wieliczka Salt Mine (90 km), Pszczyna and the Tyskie Breweries (40 km) and to Krakow (Mercedes E or V, about 90 minutes). In the evening we drive guests to Katowice restaurants - Lalka Bistro, Hibernatus, Restauracja Czerwone Wino - with the chauffeur waiting and returning to the hotel. Marriott Bonvoy members enjoy priority scheduling and Mercedes E-Class as standard.
