The drive from Katowice-Pyrzowice Airport to GieKSa Stadium covers about 35 km and usually takes 35-45 minutes. The route follows the A1 motorway southbound, then the DTŚ urban expressway and the approach via Aleja Korfantego — the same street that runs along Spodek. On match days the final stretch can be slightly slower thanks to the immediate proximity of the Culture Zone; if a concert is being held at Spodek at the same time, traffic around Aleja Korfantego thickens noticeably.
After landing, your chauffeur meets you in arrivals with a name board, assists with luggage and drives directly to the agreed entrance. The stadium has around 500 parking spaces, and if the lot is full the 600-space underground MCK car park at neighbouring Spodek is available, about five minutes' walk from the stadium. If the organiser assigns a specific gate for business box guests, sponsors or press accreditation, the drop-off is aligned with that instruction rather than ending at the first available curb. For larger corporate delegations — GKS partners, Ekstraklasa sponsors, board guests — we can coordinate several vehicles so the group enters the stadium within one planned arrival window.
We also handle pickups after Ekstraklasa or second-division matches and Silesian derbies, when traffic around Aleja Korfantego and the entire Culture Zone is at its densest. The meeting point is agreed in advance, usually on the calmer side of the venue on the day, and the departure time is set realistically against the end of the match and any press conference. A transfer to GieKSa Stadium suits premium fans, club partners, Ekstraklasa sponsors and international guests who expect predictable logistics next door to the most important cultural quarter of Katowice.
Arrival logistics
The standard drop-off is at the entrance on Aleja Korfantego 35. The stadium car park has around 500 spaces, complemented by the 600-space underground MCK car park at neighbouring Spodek (about 5 minutes' walk). On Ekstraklasa match days and Silesian derbies allow for security checks and short-term traffic build-ups around the Culture Zone.
