The ride from Katowice-Pyrzowice Airport covers about 35 km and usually takes 35-45 minutes. The route typically follows the A1 motorway southbound, then the DTŚ urban expressway, with the final approach from the Plac Sławika i Antalla side. The closing stretch through the Culture Zone tends to be the slowest part of the journey on major conference days, when delegation cars, coaches, taxis and Spodek visitors arrive simultaneously while both venues operate in parallel. For COP and EEC programmes it is wise to plan arrival with a real buffer, especially for morning panels.
After landing, your chauffeur meets you in arrivals with a name board, assists with luggage, conference materials and presentations, and drives directly to the VIP entrance zone on the Plac Sławika i Antalla side. The MCK has 600 underground parking spaces shared with Spodek, accessible directly from inside the venue. If the organiser uses a separate entrance for delegations, speakers, VIP guests or press accreditation, we align the drop-off accordingly. For larger corporate delegations and executive teams, we can synchronise several vehicles so the whole group reaches the foyer within one planned arrival window, without idling at congested curbs.
We also handle return transfers after the congress, rides between the MCK and Katowice city-centre or airport-area hotels, and staggered airport pickups for guests arriving on different flights on the same day. This is a practical option for European Economic Congress organisers, ministerial delegations, COP-level speakers and event partners who need predictable timing, discreet service and one accountable transport partner from airport arrival to venue entrance.
Arrival logistics
The standard VIP drop-off is from the Plac Sławika i Antalla 1 side. On major congress days (COP, EEC) allow a buffer for security checks, registration and short traffic build-ups in the Culture Zone; the 600-space underground car park shared with Spodek is accessible directly from inside the venue.
