Gdańsk Airport transfer to Stare Miasto (Old Suburb)

Stare Miasto in Gdańsk is the medieval district located north of Główne Miasto — often confused with it but forming a separate historic unit with its own 14th-century urban layout. The distance from Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport to the area of Wielka Mokra Street, Targ Drzewny, Stara Stocznia and Targ Rybny is about 14 km. Standard transfer time is 20-30 minutes.

The usual routing runs along the Tricity ring road, the Hallera Avenue exit and then via Wały Piastowskie or Armii Krajowej Avenue, with the final segment adjusted to a boutique hotel or apartment near the Great Mill.

Unlike Główne Miasto, some streets (Wały Piastowskie, Heweliusza, Wałowa) remain open to vehicles, but reaching an address on Targ Rybny or Świętego Ducha Street requires knowledge of one-way segments and short stopping bays.
