The transfer from Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport to Gdynia Aquarium covers about 25 km and usually takes 30-40 minutes. The route normally uses the Tricity ring road (S6), the Kwiatkowskiego viaduct and Droga Gdyńska, with the final approach to the seafront near Kościuszki Square. The choice of the last streets is aligned with live traffic in Gdynia city centre and the level of seafront use in season.
After landing, your chauffeur meets you in arrivals with a name board, assists with luggage (including pushchairs) and brings you to the aquarium entrance. The entry zone faces the boulevard, next to the Dar Pomorza tall ship and Kościuszki Square. For families with small children we can provide vehicles equipped with child seats. For school groups we recommend advance booking and coordination with the aquarium's educational programme.
A transfer to Gdynia Aquarium suits families with children looking for an educational Tricity attraction, school groups attending biology programmes, guests of the Aquarium + Dar Pomorza + Kościuszki Square one-day Gdynia combo, and visitors to Gdynia hotels (Hotel Nadmorski, Mercure Gdynia, Courtyard by Marriott). After the visit we arrange pickup from the boulevard and transfer to hotels in Gdynia, Sopot or Gdańsk.
Arrival logistics
The aquarium entrance is on the Gdynia boulevard, next to the Dar Pomorza tall ship and Kościuszki Square. The standard drop-off is on al. Jana Pawła II. In summer the boulevard is busy — allow a few minutes to find a stopping place near the entrance and to disembark the family with luggage calmly.
