Prague Airport (PRG) → Pytloun Grand Hotel Imperial transfer

Pytloun Grand Hotel Imperial at Na Poříčí 15 is a five-star address on the border between Nové Město and Karlín, about 16 km from Prague Václav Havel Airport. Standard transfer time is 25-35 minutes, rising to 35-50 minutes during peak hours. The route leaves the airport via the D7, continues through the Blanka Tunnel and reaches the hotel via Klárov, Revoluční and Na Poříčí. During morning and evening peaks (7:30-9:00 and 16:30-18:30) the sections at Klárov and Revoluční can add 10-20 minutes, so the chauffeur tracks live traffic and reroutes via Wilsonova and the edge of Václavské náměstí when needed. Your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall at Terminal 1 or 2 with a name board, helps with luggage and walks you to the vehicle parked in the meet and greet zone. The fare includes 60 minutes of waiting time after landing, live flight tracking, bottled water on board and a child seat on request.

The hotel itself occupies a historic 1914 Art Deco building and houses one of the most photographed interiors in Prague. Café Imperial on the ground floor has retained its original ceramic mosaic covering the walls and ceiling, and the Imperial restaurant runs breakfast and evening service in the same heritage setting. The hotel belongs to the Czech Pytloun group, which operates five-star properties in Prague and Liberec. The location is a deliberate choice — Nové Město on the Karlín border combines proximity to the Old Town Square with access to the Karlín boulevard, where corporate offices, the creative quarter and the dining scene of the last decade are concentrated.

The drop-off at the hotel requires attention. Na Poříčí is an active artery with tram and vehicle traffic, so the chauffeur stops on the right-hand side at the main gate, briefly, for the time needed to unload luggage. Reception is right behind the doors, and the hotel bell desk takes the luggage directly from the chauffeur. On late arrivals or in rain we coordinate the arrival moment with the concierge to shorten the time from car door to lobby. For suite-class guests we handle the luggage end to end, and for group arrivals (multi-vehicle) we agree the drop-off sequence with the hotel so that the zone does not block traffic on Na Poříčí.

The Pytloun Imperial location is one of the strongest in the heritage segment. Náměstí Republiky with the Municipal House and the Powder Tower is five minutes on foot, the Old Town Square eight to ten minutes, and the Florenc transport hub (international bus terminal plus Masaryk railway station) three to five minutes by car. Florenc metro station serves lines B and C and is the terminus for regional transfers. The Karlín boulevard begins five to ten minutes on foot from the hotel and is the natural extension for guests combining a heritage stay with visits to Karlín offices. We also handle return transfers to PRG at dawn, when guests choose breakfast at Café Imperial before the flight — pickup from the hotel can be timed against the breakfast reservation. Payment is completed online by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or BLIK. Cash is not accepted.

Frequently asked questions

Can the car reach the main entrance of Pytloun Imperial on Na Poříčí?

Yes. The chauffeur stops at the main gate on Na Poříčí 15, on the right-hand side, for the time required to unload luggage. The hotel bell desk takes the bags directly from the chauffeur. Because of the tram and vehicle traffic the stop is brief, but it is enough for a full drop-off without ending the ride at another point.

How long does the transfer from PRG to Pytloun Imperial take during Blanka Tunnel peak hours?

Standard transfers take 25-35 minutes; in peak hours 35-50 minutes. The most variable sections are Klárov and Revoluční between 7:30-9:00 and 16:30-18:30, where traffic can add 10-20 minutes. The chauffeur monitors the situation and reroutes via Wilsonova when needed.

Do you operate early pickups for breakfast at Café Imperial before the flight?

Yes. Guests often choose breakfast at Café Imperial in the 1914 heritage setting before the return transfer. We schedule the pickup from the hotel against the breakfast reservation and the flight time, with a proper buffer for traffic in the Blanka Tunnel and the security check at PRG.

Is the connection to Florenc transport hub from the hotel suitable for a larger group transfer?

Yes. Florenc bus terminal and Masaryk station are three to five minutes by car from the hotel, and Florenc metro station (lines B, C, terminus) is right next to it. For group transfers connected with the Florenc hub we assign the right vehicle class and coordinate the schedule.

Does the hotel have a drop-off zone for group arrivals (multi-vehicle)?

The hotel does not have a dedicated multi-vehicle zone — Na Poříčí is an active artery. For a group arrival in several vehicles we agree the sequence with the concierge and bell desk so that the cars stop one after another and the drop-off does not block tram and vehicle traffic on Na Poříčí.
