The hotel itself is a project from the Hyatt group — Andaz is the chain's lifestyle brand, designed for travellers who combine cultural curiosity with a premium service standard. Andaz Prague occupies a heritage 1916 building whose architecture carries the imprint of Czech Cubism, a movement Prague developed into a style unique on the European scale. The conversion of the heritage shell into a hotel was completed recently, so the interiors blend the original architectural fabric with the contemporary design language signature to Andaz. The MAS restaurant, run by an author-driven kitchen, focuses on Czech produce and a modern reading of local tradition. The location is a deliberate choice — Senovážné náměstí is a commercial square within Nové Město, immediately adjacent to Náměstí Republiky and the office quarter on Hybernská.
The drop-off at the hotel is comfortable. Senovážné náměstí is a square with moderate residential and commercial traffic, so the chauffeur stops on the northern side of the square in the spot indicated by the Andaz reception. The reception door is opened by the concierge, who collects you and the luggage directly from the chauffeur. On late arrivals or in rain we coordinate the arrival moment with the concierge to shorten the time from car door to lobby. For suite-class guests we handle the luggage end to end, and for group arrivals (multi-vehicle) we agree the drop-off sequence with the hotel so that the zone on the square does not block the traffic of residents and local suppliers.
The walking convenience of Andaz Prague is one of the strongest in the city. Náměstí Republiky with the Municipal House and the Powder Tower is three minutes on foot, Wenceslas Square five to seven minutes, the Old Town Square eight to ten minutes. Masaryk station serves regional and suburban rail (four minutes), and Hlavní nádraží — the main station — six to eight minutes, with direct connections to Berlin, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest. The Hybernská heritage street, where the office and dining quarter is concentrated, begins literally at the foot of the hotel. Andaz is the choice of guests combining business goals (Hybernská office cluster, Náměstí Republiky) with a leisure walking programme through Old Town and Wenceslas Square. We also handle return transfers to PRG at dawn and coordinate with the concierge for World of Hyatt loyalty members travelling between properties. Payment is completed online by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or BLIK. Cash is not accepted.
