Letná has the character of a quiet, residential premium plateau with the green spine of Letná Park and historic apartment blocks from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. On one side it is a residential district with a discreet atmosphere — neighbourhood cafés, boutique guesthouses, villa-lined streets on the Bubeneč border and an embassy quarter housed in nearby residences. On the other side it is a viewpoint: the park's edge above the Vltava offers one of the most striking panoramas of Prague, with Hradčany castle, the Vltava bridges and the Old Town in a single frame. The most common destinations are premium boutique hotels near Letná Park, apartment-hotels along Milady Horákové and villa guesthouses on the Bubeneč border, where guests prefer the calm of the plateau over the busy centre. The second pillar is sport and culture traffic: AC Sparta Praha home matches at Generali Arena, exhibitions at the National Technical Museum and the National Agricultural Museum, and wedding photo sessions at the Metronome at sunset.
Letná's landmarks operate at street level. Letná Park is not just a green space — it is the destination for evening walks, wedding photo sessions at the Metronome and the seasonal Letná Beer Garden, open from June to September with its legendary river view. The Letná Metronome, a giant rotating metronome on the plinth left by the former Stalin monument, is the local orientation point and a favourite backdrop for wedding photographers. AC Sparta Praha plays its home matches at Generali Arena at Milady Horákové 1066 — pre-match drop-off requires the access from Strossmayerovo náměstí, while post-match pickups are arranged on side streets, because Milady Horákové itself becomes a bottleneck. The National Technical Museum and the adjacent National Agricultural Museum at Kostelní 42 are accessed from Letenské náměstí or Kostelní, which matters for evening conferences and industry events. DOX, the contemporary art centre on the Holešovice border, completes the cultural offer.
The drop-off approach is planned against the actual plateau layout. For hotels along Milady Horákové we usually access directly from the artery — both the inbound and outbound lanes have marked short stops. For addresses around Letenské náměstí we use the residential side streets, where the blue zone (residential, for permit holders) and the violet zone (mixed) apply. Some streets bordering Letná Park are outside the parking zones because of the park's proximity, but they require knowledge of the access routes. For Generali Arena and the National Technical Museum drop-off is planned in advance because of event traffic. After concerts and AC Sparta matches, traffic on Milady Horákové can be jammed for 30-45 minutes, so on those evenings the chauffeur proposes a pickup from a side street 200-300 metres from the stadium. Payment is completed online by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or BLIK, with no cash handling and no night surcharge.
