Dejvice has the character of a Prague 6 business hub with a strong diplomatic and academic component. Vítězné náměstí, locally known as the "Round Square" because of its circular layout with Evropská converging centrally, is the heart of the district and the orientation landmark for most arrivals. Around the square are concentrated business hotels (Hotel International Prague — a brutalist Crowne Plaza landmark at Koulova 15), the ČVUT campus (Czech Technical University) with buildings along Technická and Zikova, and an embassy quarter housing residences of multiple countries' embassies. To the north stretches Hanspaulka — heritage residential premium with villas from the 1920s and 1930s, one of the most prestigious residential areas of Prague, with a hillside villa layout reminiscent of European garden suburbs. Business guests and consular delegations choose Dejvice precisely for this layout: quick airport transfer, a hotel near their embassy, good access to the centre via Metro A with the western terminus at Dejvická.
Dejvice's landmarks operate at street level. Hotel International Prague (Crowne Plaza) at Koulova 15 is a 1950s brutalist heritage landmark with drive-through entry to the main door — drop-off is standard, with no security coordination required. Vítězné náměstí is the central traffic node: for addresses around the square (hotels along Evropská, offices, cafés) we access directly from the artery. The ČVUT campus has restricted access for external vehicles — for graduations, academic conferences and industry events drop-off is planned at the main entrance from Technická or Zikova, where short stops for guest-bringing vehicles are permitted. The embassy quarter is specific: some embassies require security clearance and accept only an external drop-off (not at the gate), which we handle from Evropská or side streets depending on the exact address and the embassy's protocol. Hanspaulka villas means drop-off at residential villa addresses — narrow residential streets, quiet hours, restricted parking — accessed from Hanspaulské náměstí. Stromovka park on the Bubeneč border is handled from Hradčanská or Veletržní.
The drop-off approach is planned against the actual geometry of the district. For hotels along Evropská (Hotel International, Diplomat, Holiday Inn on the way to PRG) we access directly from the artery — all of them have designated drop-off zones at the main entrance. For business addresses around Vítězné náměstí we use side streets, where the blue zone (residential, for permit holders) and the orange zone (commercial, short-term) apply — during business hours orange accepts short stops for passenger exchanges. For the ČVUT campus drop-off from Technická or Zikova requires coordination on event days (graduations close part of the campus to traffic), so we ask for the entry time in advance. The embassy zone requires an individual plan — some embassies require an external drop-off at a short walking distance from the gate, others accept direct approach. Hanspaulka residential addresses are handled with access from Hanspaulské náměstí, with parking restricted to the blue zone. Metro Dejvická, the western terminus of line A, is a good fallback meeting point for operationally trickier addresses. Payment is completed online by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or BLIK, with no cash handling and no night surcharge.
