The route from WAW covers about 12 km and usually takes 20-30 minutes. The usual approach runs via Zwirki i Wigury, Raszynska and Aleje Jerozolimskie, then along Krakowskie Przedmiescie towards Plac Zamkowy. The final drop-off is at the access zone on Krakowskie Przedmiescie, close to the Sigismund Column - from there the route continues on foot across Plac Zamkowy to the castle main entrance. Due to traffic restrictions in the Old Town, direct drop-off at the castle is not possible.
A visit to the Royal Castle is often combined with tours of the Old Town, the Sigismund Column, Krakowskie Przedmiescie and Lazienki Royal Park. Many international guests treat the castle as the first stop of a royal Warsaw tourism programme. The Lanckoronski Gallery with Rembrandt attracts connoisseurs of 17th-century Dutch painting, and the Royal Apartments with the Throne Room are an essential stop for all enthusiasts of Polish history.
This transfer works well for history tourists, Plac Zamkowy and Old Town combined-programme clients, Rembrandt connoisseurs and international guests visiting Warsaw as part of a royal programme. The chauffeur collects passengers from arrivals or a hotel, assists with luggage and takes them to the access zone on Krakowskie Przedmiescie. After the visit we arrange pickup with a meeting point agreed in advance, most often on Krakowskie Przedmiescie or Senatorska Street.
