Pultusk is one of the oldest towns in Mazovia and the seat of the Polish Diaspora House in the historic castle of the Plock bishops. The town boasts the longest market square in Europe (400 m), a 15th-century Gothic collegiate with Renaissance polychromes, defensive walls with towers and a monastic refectory with original paintings. Pultusk Castle (14th-15th century) today serves as a hotel and conference complex run by the Polish Community Association — it welcomes Polish diaspora pilgrims from all over the world. 70 km via the S7 northern exit from Warsaw, 1 h 15 min - 1 h 30 min off-peak. The bottleneck is the Warsaw exit in the 7-9 and 16-19 peak hours. The service runs 24/7. A standard plan: 9:00 hotel pickup, 10:30 arrival in Pultusk, tour of the square, collegiate and castle (2 h), lunch at the castle restaurant, 14:00 return to Warsaw.
