Private Transfer from Rzeszów to Lviv

The default route runs through Korczowa–Krakowiec: the only crossing reached directly by the A4 motorway on the Polish side and the M-10 on the Ukrainian side, and the closest one to Lviv. It is also the busiest on the whole border, so before departure and en route we check the waiting times published by the border services (granica.gov.pl, kordon.gov.ua, nakordoni.eu). When the queue builds, the chauffeur diverts to Budomierz–Hrushiv on regional road 866 — roughly 30–40 km further, but usually faster at peak — or to Malhowice–Niżankowice, opened in December 2024 about 12 km from Przemyśl and the least congested option in the region. We avoid Medyka, where pedestrian and coach traffic mix.

Driving alone takes roughly 2 h 15 min to 3 h: about 95 km on the A4 from the S19 interchange outside Rzeszów, past Łańcut, Przeworsk, Jarosław and Radymno, then 77.3 km on the single-carriageway M-10 through Yavoriv, Novoyavorivsk and Ivano-Frankove. Border processing comes on top, so we plan 4-6 h in total. The crossing is calmest at night between 02:00 and 05:00 and on weekdays between 10:00 and 15:00; Friday evenings, Sunday afternoons after 16:00 and the days before public holidays are the slowest. We set the pickup time around that window rather than around a timetable — after a morning landing at Jasionka, leaving straight from baggage reclaim usually gives the shortest wait.

Flying is not possible: Ukrainian airspace has been closed to civil traffic since February 2022, and Lviv-Danylo Halytskyi Airport, undamaged and technically ready, remains out of service. In March 2026 the Ukrainian government set up a working group on reopening the skies and on 3 April 2026 airBaltic became the first carrier to declare readiness to resume flights, but no date has been announced. That leaves the road. By rail from Rzeszów you change at Przemyśl, about 4.5 h in all, carry your bags across the platform and arrive only at Lviv-Holovnyi station. A valid passport for every passenger — Ukraine is outside the Schengen Area and does not accept EU identity cards as travel documents; visa-free entry covers 90 days in any 180-day period. The war continues and a night curfew applies in Lviv and across the oblast, so we plan arrival with a margin before it starts, and we recommend checking your own government's current travel advice before you set off. We do not serve destinations east of Lviv.

In Lviv we deliver to the address you name: a hotel by Rynok Square or Prospekt Svobody, an office in the Halytskyi or Frankivskyi district, an apartment in Sykhiv, Lviv-Holovnyi station, the Opera House, the Lychakiv Cemetery. We enter on the western bypass, so the western districts and the centre are on our way. An ordinary Rzeszów taxi will not cross the border; we drive the whole route, not just as far as Medyka.
