Bratislava Airport (BTS) → Karlova Ves transfer

Karlova Ves sits on the western bank of Bratislava, beyond the Mlynská dolina belt — this is the academic district with the main campus of Comenius University (Univerzita Komenského, UK), Bratislava ZOO and the gateway to the forests of Železná studnička. From BTS the distance is about 12 km, a 20-30 minute drive in normal traffic.

The standard route uses the D1 motorway to Pribinova and crosses the Danube via Most Apollo; the alternative is the D2 with approach via Botanická and Karloveská — choice depends on time of day and the exact destination within the district.
