Pickup is in the arrivals hall of Terminal T1 or T2, where your chauffeur waits with a name board. Flight status is tracked live, and you have 60 minutes of free waiting after landing, which absorbs passport queues and baggage delays. From El Prat the route runs via the C-31 and the Ronda Litoral, then into the city along Gran Via or the seafront approach. The usual bottleneck is around L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, where the airport corridor meets city traffic; outside peak hours the drive settles to roughly half an hour.
Because the heart of the quarter is heavily pedestrianised, the chauffeur stops at the nearest accessible edge, typically Via Laietana, Pla de Palau or the margins of Plaça Reial, and helps with luggage to that point. For boutique hotels such as the Mercer, the Ohla or DO Plaça Reial, this is the established practice; staff expect arrivals on foot for the last few minutes. If you are carrying heavy cases, tell us your exact address at booking and we will set the closest stop.
The whole quarter sits inside the ZBE (Zona de Baixes Emissions), Barcelona's low-emission zone, and every Mercedes in our fleet complies. The fare is fixed when you book, with no meter and no surcharges. Choose the E-Class for couples and business travellers, the S-Class for a more formal arrival, or the V-Class for families and small groups with luggage. Payment is online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay; we do not take cash, and a VAT invoice is available on request.
