About this route
Route overview
The Prague–Tábor route is a short, direct ride south on the D3 motorway — roughly 90 km and 1 h 15 min on the road. Tábor is a Hussite stronghold founded in 1420 by Jan Žižka and remains one of the most important sites in Czech religious and military heritage. The town sits on a hill above the Lužnice river, and its medieval street layout has survived almost untouched. Guests arrive at Žižka Square, lined with Renaissance and Gothic townhouses, the Gothic Church of the Transfiguration, and a statue of Žižka himself. Beneath the town runs a network of medieval underground passages, partly open to visitors. The Hussite Museum inside the town hall traces the reformist movement, while the Bechyně Gate and Kotnov Castle preserve the original fortifications. The transfer is covered with Mercedes E, S or V Class — the vehicle is matched to passenger count and luggage profile. Fare confirmed before departure, chauffeur in dark suit, flight tracking and 60 minutes of complimentary post-landing waiting included. An ideal choice for guests focused on Hussite history, pilgrimage groups, and travellers combining Prague with southern Bohemia.
