About this route
Route overview
The Prague–Příbram route is a direct ride south-west on the D4 motorway and the I-18 road — roughly 65 km and 1 h on the road. Příbram has a dual identity: mining and pilgrimage. For centuries it was one of Central Europe's most important silver-mining centres, and in the 20th century it became the heart of uranium extraction for the Eastern Bloc — a history preserved in the Mining Museum, the largest of its kind in the Czech Republic, taking in the Březové Hory mine and the Vojna Memorial commemorating a communist-era labour camp. The town's second pillar is the Svatá Hora Marian Shrine — a Baroque masterpiece designed by Carlo Lurago, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Czech lands, with its silver altar and covered cloisters. The transfer is covered with Mercedes E, S or V Class — vehicle choice is matched to passenger count and luggage profile. Fare confirmed before departure, chauffeur in dark suit, flight tracking and 60 minutes of complimentary post-landing waiting included. The right choice for pilgrims, industrial heritage enthusiasts, and travellers combining religious tourism with mining history.
