About this route
Route overview
The LTN -> LHR run is a classic connection move: a Wizz Air or other European low-cost flight into Luton and a long-haul transfer out of Heathrow. 70 km and 70-95 min off-peak, up to 125 min between 4 and 7 PM. The route runs down the M1 to the M25, then anticlockwise round the western side of the orbital (Junction 21 to Junction 15), then the M4 into the LHR terminals. The main bottleneck is the M25 between Junction 21 and Junction 15 — congestion is constant in working hours. The service operates 24/7, so we also handle overnight misconnects after a delayed Wizz Air leg. We recommend a 3-4 hour buffer before a long-haul departure from LHR (bag drop, security, terminal walk). The driver pulls up at the Luton terminal to your flight number and delivers you to the specific LHR terminal (T2, T3, T4, T5).
