About this route
Route overview
LTN -> LGW is the European low-cost connection scenario: a Wizz Air, easyJet or Ryanair flight out of Luton and an easyJet or TUI leg out of Gatwick (or the reverse). 95 km and 90-125 min off-peak, up to 150 min in the afternoon peak (4-7 PM). The route runs south on the M1, then clockwise on the M25 along the western orbital to Junction 7, then the M23 south to the LGW terminal. The bottleneck is the whole M25 section between Junction 21 and Junction 7 — congestion is constant in working hours. The service operates 24/7, so we also handle overnight misconnects after a delayed flight. We recommend a 3 hour buffer before a Gatwick departure. The driver pulls up at the Luton terminal and delivers you to the correct LGW terminal to your flight number (South or North).
