About this route
Route overview
LTN -> STN is the shortest airport-to-airport run in London — 40 km and 40-65 min off-peak (up to 80 min in the afternoon peak, 4-7 PM). The route follows the A505 or M1 east, then the A1(M) and the A120 to the Stansted terminal. The classic use case is Wizz Air out of LTN and Ryanair out of STN (or the reverse) — the most common Polish-British inter-airport connection. The route avoids the M25, so it sidesteps the main London bottlenecks. The service operates 24/7, so we also handle early and overnight misconnects. We recommend a 3 hour buffer before a Stansted departure (Ryanair closes bag drop 40 min before flight). The driver pulls up at the Luton terminal and delivers you to the STN terminal.
