About this route
Route overview
Cambridge is the second of England's ancient universities — thirty-one colleges, King's College Chapel, the Bridge of Sighs and punting on the river Cam. Guests usually stay at the University Arms, the Varsity Hotel & Spa, Hotel du Vin or the Gonville Hotel. From Heathrow the route runs along the M25 orbital to the M11 junction, then up the M11 — 100-115 km, 100-140 min depending on time of day. The bottleneck is the M25 stretch between LHR and the M11 junction; we add a 20-30 min buffer between 4 and 7 PM. The driver pulls up to T2, T3, T4 or T5 according to your flight number and waits in the arrivals hall with a name board. We handle academic guests (parents, candidates, speakers) and business travel alike — Cambridge Science Park, AstraZeneca HQ and the biotech campus. May Balls in June and graduation week need early booking because of black-tie timings and late finishes.
