About this route
Route overview
Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage city of Georgian architecture — the Roman Baths, The Pump Room, the Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey. Hotels include The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa, the Bath Spa Hotel, The Gainsborough Bath Spa and the Macdonald Bath Spa. From Gatwick the route runs up the M23, then around the western M25 clockwise and onto the M4 westward to Bath — 200-220 km and 170-220 min, our longest UK transfer from LGW. Bath is the only city in Britain with natural hot springs (Thermae Bath Spa) — many guests combine the transfer with a spa stay. Nearby: Stonehenge (1.5 hours), Castle Combe and the Cotswolds, Bristol (~30 min). The driver pulls up to the North or South Terminal according to your flight number and waits in the arrivals hall with a name board. The Royal Crescent has a private address under its grand Georgian arc — we confirm the final approach with hotel reception at booking.
