About this route
Route overview
The route from Prague Airport (PRG) to Telč runs on the D1 motorway towards Brno, then continues on the I-23 road across the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The 150 km drive takes around 1 hour 45 minutes. Telč is one of the best-preserved Renaissance ensembles in Central Europe: the main square, Náměstí Zachariáše z Hradce, lined with arcaded houses from the 16th century in pastel facades, has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1992. The entire historic centre sits on a peninsula between three ponds, and the Renaissance-and-Gothic Telč Chateau still holds its original audience halls and interiors. We operate Mercedes E-Class (1–3 passengers), S-Class for executive arrivals, and V-Class for families or groups of up to six. The fare is fixed and confirmed before departure, the chauffeur tracks your flight, and 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time after landing are included. On request we plan stops at Telč Chateau, the 17th-century plague column, and the Lipky park along the pond banks. Telč pairs well with the other UNESCO sites of the Vysočina region – Třebíč and Žďár nad Sázavou – enabling a complete heritage day with one chauffeur at your disposal.
