About this route
Route overview
The route from Prague Airport (PRG) to Jihlava covers 140 km eastbound on the D1 motorway, deep into the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The chauffeur completes the distance in roughly 1 h 30 min, with the pace adjusted to road conditions. Jihlava is a historic mining city — a centre of silver extraction since the 13th century, whose wealth financed successive Czech rulers. Náměstí Masaryka is among the largest historic squares in the country, and the network of catacombs beneath the city stretches for more than 25 km and remains open to visitors. The Church of St James the Greater with its two asymmetric towers and the Mother of God Gate close the medieval street plan, while Gustav Mahler's family home recalls the city's ties to late-Romantic music. Jihlava is also the capital of the Vysočina Region and the natural gateway to three UNESCO entries — the château at Telč, the Jewish quarter of Třebíč and the pilgrimage Church of St John of Nepomuk at Žďár nad Sázavou. We operate the transfer with a Mercedes E, S or V Class, selected to match passenger count and luggage. The fare is fixed before departure, and after landing we include 60 min of complimentary waiting alongside flight tracking that updates the pickup time in real time.
