About this route
Route overview
Stansted sits roughly 50-60 km north-east of London — the base for Ryanair and a wide European low-cost network. The route runs down the M11 motorway straight to the North Circular (A406) junction, then via Hammersmith flyover or Embankment into West End hotels. Typical drive time is 60-80 min off-peak and 90-110 min between 4 and 7 PM. The main bottleneck is the M11/A406 junction — we add a 20-30 min buffer through the afternoon peak. Stansted itself is ULEZ-exempt and our fleet is compliant in the central zone, so the low-emission charge does not lift the transfer price. The driver pulls up at the correct arrivals level according to your flight number and waits in the hall with a name board.
