About this route
Route overview
STN -> LGW is the longest airport-to-airport run in London — 95 km and a full M25 loop along the western side. Typically 90-130 min off-peak, up to 160 min in the afternoon peak (4-7 PM). The route runs south on the M11, then anticlockwise on the M25 along the full western orbital to Junction 7, then the M23 south to the LGW terminal. The classic use case is a low-cost connection: Ryanair into STN and easyJet out of LGW (or the reverse). The service operates 24/7, so we also handle overnight misconnects after a delayed flight. We recommend a 3 hour buffer before a Gatwick departure. The driver pulls up at the STN terminal and delivers you to the correct LGW terminal to your flight number (South or North).
