About this route
Route overview
A transfer from Heathrow to Paris is a classic long-haul route via the Eurotunnel — the car-carrying shuttle from the Folkestone terminal to Calais takes the vehicle and its passengers under the Channel in about 35 minutes. The full journey covers 480-510 km and takes 8-10 hours door-to-door: M25, M20 to Folkestone, Eurotunnel, A16 and A1/A26 into Paris. Eurotunnel runs 24/7 and we reserve a slot in advance for every transfer. Premium Paris hotels on our drop list include the Ritz Paris, Hôtel de Crillon, Four Seasons George V, Le Bristol Paris, Plaza Athénée and Le Meurice. For clients arriving on a long-haul flight from the US or Asia this is a comfortable alternative — no connecting flight or train, luggage stays in the car and there is room to rest while passing under the Channel. The driver pulls up to T2, T3, T4 or T5 according to your flight number and waits in the arrivals hall with a name board.
