About this route
Route overview
Door-to-door transfer Warsaw to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia and the farthest of the Baltic destinations at about 920 km. The route is the Via Baltica along the whole Baltic spine: the S8 and S61 to the Budzisko crossing, then on through Kaunas, Riga and Parnu into Tallinn. The entire overland route runs through Schengen (Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia), with no border checks, no queues and no ferries, on an EU ID card alone. Given the distance we recommend a two-day plan with an overnight in Riga, which splits the drive into two comfortable 7–8 h legs; a same-day 11–13 h option is available on request. Tallinn is the best-preserved medieval Old Town in Northern Europe (UNESCO), Toompea hill, Town Hall Square, the Kadriorg district and the ferry to Helsinki (about 2 h). It is also Europe's digital capital — e-residency and the origin of companies like Skype and Wise. Vehicle: a Mercedes V-Class for 4–6 passengers with luggage, or an S-Class for executive travel. A fixed price confirmed at booking, one chauffeur and one number for the whole route, 24/7.
