About this route
Route overview
Door-to-door transfer Warsaw to Klaipeda, Lithuania's only seaport and the gateway to the Curonian Spit. About 600 km: the Via Baltica S8 and S61 via Bialystok and Suwalki to the Budzisko crossing, then the Lithuanian A5 to Kaunas and the A1 motorway west to the Baltic coast. The whole overland route runs through Schengen, with no border checks and an EU ID card alone. The same-day 7–8 h plan runs on motorway and expressway with breaks every 2–3 h. Klaipeda — German Memel until 1923 — has a half-timbered Old Town, Lithuania's best access to the sea, the ferry to the Curonian Spit (Neringa, Nida; a UNESCO-listed landscape) and the nearby Palanga resort with its airport (PLQ). We match the car to the party: a Mercedes E-Class or S-Class for a couple or business travel, a V-Class for 4–6 passengers with no luggage limit. A fixed price confirmed at booking, one chauffeur and one number for the whole route, 24/7.
