About this route
Route overview
The PRG -> GDN inter-airport route is a long cross-border transfer linking the Czech capital with the Polish coast. 800 km via Germany: D8 to Dresden, A13 to Berlin, A12 and A2 via Swiecko, A1 to Gdansk, 8 - 9 h off-peak. A natural overland alternative to KLM PRG-AMS-GDN: the client avoids a transit transfer and any risk of lost luggage on a connection. GDN serves LOT to Warsaw with an onward US connection, plus Wizz Air and Ryanair across Europe. Bottlenecks: A12/A2 around Berlin and Frankfurt an der Oder (roadworks), A2 around Poznan during 7-9 and 16-19 peaks (up to 60 min added), Friday afternoons can add 90 min. The route is also popular with Tri-City to Prague business delegations. The service operates 24/7. We recommend a 4 hour buffer before a GDN departure. Mercedes E-Class from EUR 2,100 for 1-3 passengers, V-Class from EUR 2,500 for 4-6.
