About this route
Route overview
Canary Wharf is London's Docklands financial district — home to One Canada Square, HSBC Tower, Citigroup and Barclays, along with hotels including Canary Riverside Plaza, Marriott Canary Wharf and Novotel London Canary Wharf. It is the furthest of the premium districts from LHR — 38-45 km and 70-110 min off-peak, peak up to 130 min. The driver pulls up to T2, T3, T4 or T5 based on your flight number and picks live between two arterials: M4 → A4/Embankment → Tower Bridge → A1203 Aspen Way, or M4 → A406/North Circular → A13. The main bottlenecks are the Hammersmith flyover and the Aspen Way approach in peak hours — the final approach to your building or hotel is planned in advance.
