About this route
Route overview
The GDN -> WMI route serves low-cost air travel passengers: a Gdansk arrival on a scheduled carrier (KLM, Lufthansa, LOT) and a Modlin continuation with the Ryanair or Wizz Air hub to the UK (Stansted, Manchester, Edinburgh), Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga), Italy (Bergamo, Rome Ciampino) or Scandinavia. 370 km via the A1 to Lodz, then S8 to the Warsaw bypass and S7 across Mazovia to Modlin, 4 h - 4 h 30 min off-peak. The main bottleneck is the final 30 km along Nasielska street to the Modlin terminal — a single-carriageway road with no detour. Ryanair closes check-in 40 minutes before departure, so we recommend a 3 hour buffer before a WMI flight. The service operates 24/7, so we also handle early Ryanair departures to Stansted after an overnight arrival into Gdansk. The chauffeur pulls up at the GDN terminal with a name board and delivers you to the Modlin terminal with time in hand for bag drop. Mercedes E-Class from EUR 1,600 for 1-3 passengers, V-Class from EUR 1,950 for 4-6 with luggage.
