About this route
Route overview
Door-to-door transfer Warsaw to Kaunas, the nearest major Baltic city at about 350 km. The route is the Via Baltica: the S8 to Bialystok, the S61 via Lomza and Suwalki to the Budzisko crossing, then the Lithuanian A5 straight into Kaunas. The Polish-Lithuanian border is a Schengen crossing, with no checks, no queue and an EU ID card alone. The same-day 4–5 h plan runs on motorway and expressway with one or two breaks. Kaunas was Lithuania's provisional capital from 1919 to 1939, and it still shows: UNESCO-listed interwar modernist architecture, the Baroque Pažaislis Monastery, the Old Town at the meeting of the Nemunas and Neris rivers, the Žalgiris basketball arena and Kaunas Airport (KUN). We match the car to the party: a Mercedes E-Class or S-Class for a business meeting, a V-Class for 4–6 passengers with luggage. A fixed price confirmed at booking, one chauffeur and one number for the whole route, 24/7.
