About this route
Route overview
Mayfair is London's most recognised premium district — a square mile of five-star hotels including the Connaught, Claridge's, Brown's, the Dorchester and the Berkeley near Park Lane. From Gatwick the route follows the M23, then the M25 (western ring between Junction 7 and Junction 9), and on via the A23/Vauxhall or A24/Clapham into Park Lane and Berkeley Square. Typical drive times are 75-110 min off-peak, up to 130 min in peak — the M25 between Junction 7 and Junction 9 is a steady bottleneck during the afternoon. The driver pulls up to the North Terminal or South Terminal based on your flight number and waits in the arrivals hall with a name board. Mount Street, Bruton Street and Curzon Street have access restrictions — the final approach is planned in advance so we can pull up as close to the hotel door as legally possible, near Bond Street, the Royal Academy and Burlington Arcade.
