Prague in one day — without compromising on comfort
Prague in one day can be a challenge. Four hills, dozens of landmarks, crowds on Charles Bridge and tour leaders shepherding 30-person groups with megaphones. It is hard to see it all and still feel the city.
So we propose a different model. A Mercedes with a private driver is at your disposal for 8 hours. We pick you up from your hotel at 9 AM and return to the same address by 5 PM. In between — the Old Town with the Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge, Prague Castle with St. Vitus Cathedral, Petřín with its funicular and Vyšehrad with views over the Vltava.
We do not force a rigid schedule. The plan is a starting point — your driver adapts to your pace, suggests where to have lunch and which routes avoid the worst crowds. Castle tickets and a licensed guide can be added optionally. The rest is a calm day in Prague.

What to know before the tour
Best time of year
Prague is beautiful year-round. Spring and early autumn (April-May, September-October) offer the best weather and fewer crowds. July-August brings high temperatures and a packed Old Town.
Crowds on Charles Bridge
The bridge is least crowded early (before 10 AM) and late (after 7 PM). Our plan crosses it between 10:30 and 11 — busy but still bearable.
Prague Castle
Courtyard access is free, but interiors (Cathedral, Palace, Golden Lane) require a ticket — full circuit 450 CZK per guest (~18 EUR). Tickets booked online; we handle this on your behalf.
Petřín funicular
Part of the Prague public transport system — single ticket 30 CZK or Lítačka day pass 120 CZK. Operates year-round except for short maintenance periods.
Lunch
Lunch is not included. Recommended budget ~140-280 EUR per guest (Café Imperial, Café Slavia). We can reserve a table in advance.
What to wear
Comfortable shoes — Prague has a lot of cobblestones. Prague wind on the hills (Castle, Petřín, Vyšehrad) can be cool even in summer; a light jacket is wise.

Frequently asked questions
How long does the private Prague tour last?
The standard tour runs 8 hours — from 9 AM to 5 PM. The plan can be adjusted: an earlier start (e.g. 8 AM) or a later finish (up to 6 PM) are arranged individually.
What does the tour include?
Mercedes E-Class or V-Class with private driver for 8 hours, fuel, motorway tolls, all parking, water and USB-C charging on board. A licensed guide and Prague Castle tickets are optional and quoted separately.
Is a guide included in the price?
Not in the base price. The driver knows Prague and moves you point to point, but does not deliver formal historical narration. A licensed guide (EN/DE/IT/ES/PL) is an additional 460 EUR for 4-8 hours.
Are Prague Castle tickets included?
No — they are optional. The full circuit (St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, St. George Basilica, Golden Lane) is + 175 EUR per guest. Without a ticket you can still walk the courtyards and admire the Castle from outside — the complex is worth visiting either way.
Can we skip a stop?
Yes. The plan is a starting point, not a fixed schedule. You can skip Vyšehrad in favour of a longer Mala Strana walk, add the Jewish Quarter (Josefov), or spend more time in one of the cafés. The choice is yours.
What about lunch?
Lunch is not included. We recommend Café Imperial, Café Slavia or a Mala Strana restaurant — roughly 140-280 EUR per guest. Reserving the table at your chosen venue is on us.
Where do you pick us up?
From any hotel or apartment in Prague. Most often hotels in the Old Town, Mala Strana, Vinohrady and New Town — the driver reaches every address within the city.
Which car will we get?
Mercedes E-Class (up to 3 guests, business class) or V-Class (up to 6 guests, spacious interior). All vehicles are air-conditioned and equipped with leather seats, WiFi, USB-C and glass-bottled water.
Can we start earlier than 9 AM?
Yes. The standard start is 9 AM, but shifting to 8 or 8:30 is possible — particularly useful if you want an empty Charles Bridge at sunrise.
Are children welcome?
Of course. The V-Class fits a family with two children and luggage. Child seats are provided free of charge — please specify type and age in the enquiry form.
Can we add a Vltava cruise?
Yes — a one-hour cruise between Charles Bridge and Vyšehrad is a popular option between 3 and 4 PM. Price depends on the vessel (50-150 EUR per guest). We book on your behalf.
What if the weather is bad?
We adapt the plan. A rainy day means more time inside St. Vitus Cathedral, a longer lunch at Café Imperial, optionally the Jewish Quarter (Josefov) instead of Petřín. The driver pulls up to every entrance, so wet dashes are kept to a minimum.
Can we end at a different time than 5 PM?
Yes. A longer day (until 6 or 7 PM) is + 80 EUR per additional hour. A shorter day (e.g. 6 hours) is possible too, but the price stays per vehicle per day.
How do we book?

Can we cancel?
Yes — free cancellation up to 48 hours before the tour. Shorter notice may incur fees for booked tickets or restaurant reservations.
